On a recent trip to tokyo, we visited DOVER STREET MARKET GINZA, a six-floor, 2,500-square-metre space occupying the west wing of Ginza Komatsu— a historic department store built in 1946— opened by COMME des GARÇONS founder Rei Kawakubo and her husband adrian joffe following the success of the multilevel installation-based London boutique they founded in 2004.
