La Bauhinia offers a unique week-end brunch experience that serves two Michelin-starred Chef Philippe Labbé’s selection of continental breakfast classics alongside South-East Asian dishes.

Upon entering the serene dining room of La Bauhinia, located on the ground floor of the Shangri-La Hotel in Paris, the splendid dome-shaped glass roof designed by architect Maurice Gras brightens up the elegant decor and casts light on its fine details. Bathing in hues of celadon, amidst deep red velvet sofas and black lacquered wood tables, Asian-inspired porcelain art and antiques reflect the legacy of the Shangri-La hotels group rooted in the Far East.

Gorge on the freshest and finest French breads and pastries, indulge in a luscious selection of French cheese, enjoy a refined platter of cold cuts alongside genuine Asian specialty dishes from Thailand, Malaysia or Japan, beautifully arranged in a buffet or ordered a la carte. The eggs benedict with shaved black truffle are a gourmet’s favorite.

Served on top of a black grand piano, the selection of “old fashioned” French desserts by Chef François Perret, with it’s assortment of subtle delicacies, fresh seasonal fruit and a large choice of fine biscuits and cakes will win over even the occasional sweet tooth.

Topped with impeccable service, a special menu available for kids and a pleasant after-meal stroll around the historic building, former home of a Napoleon Bonaparte nephew, the brunch experience at La Bauhinia will take you on a exceptional culinary journey.
