Hiroyuki Murase, the eldest son of the fifth generation of the Suzusan's family business, started the lighting line based on their own handmade fabrics using the traditional Japanese technique of the Shibori in 2008. He has been able to translate the cultural meaning into a modern European context by opening an atelier in Dusseldorf, Germany, and so far has been developing the idea of the haute couture in light with incredible shapes.
