the light show at the hayward gallery in london explores our interactions with light through a series of sculptures and installations, created from the 1960s to the present day. Each exhibit shapes its surrounding space through its manipulation of colour, duration, intensity and perceptual phenomena.

artists with work on show include ann veronica janssens, anthony mccall, bill culbert, brigitte kowanz, carlos cruz-diez, ceal floyer, cerith wyn evans, conrad shawcross, dan flavin, david batchelor, doug wheeler, fischli and Weiss, françois morellet, iván Navarro, james turrell, jim Campbell, katie Paterson, leo villareal, nancy holt, olafur eliasson and philippe parreno.
